Celebrity Salute is proud to welcome back a long-time friend of the program, documentarian Ken Burns!  Ken is back with an INCREDIBLE new documentary: The American Revolution.  Randy and Ken take a deep dive into just a couple of the themes explored in this wonderful series; comparing modern-day challenges with the sensibilities of our founding fathers.  Check out The American Revolution, now available in the PBS Passport!

We welcome an actor from one of our favorite series, “Better Call Saul,” Michael Mando!  Michael is once again portraying the villain Scorpion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  “Spider-Man: Brand New Day, “ now in theaters, is a topic of discussion, as well as all of his upcoming projects, this week on Celebrity Salute.

We welcome actress Charlene Tilton to the podcast to discuss her iconic role on the TV classic “Dallas.”  A large collection of “Dallas” memorabilia has gone up for sale, and Randy discusses with Charlene how important the program was to American pop culture in its day, its influence on entertainment today, and more.  Charlene also gives her well-wishes to all of our servicemembers and veterans listening to the program.

We welcome the legendary John Ratzenberger to promote his most recent turn as the voice of Hamm in Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story 5.”  The guys discuss soccer and how attending a match back in the day was taking your life into your own hands, his role as Cliff on “Cheers,” and some great behind-the-scenes info about the movie-making process.

We welcome 6-Time Emmy-Award winning actor, Kelsey Grammer, to The National Defense to talk about his lengthy career in Hollywood, some of his recollections of the great T.V. series he’s appeared on through the years, his work with Operation Restored Warrior, and his lead role in the sci-fi thriller “Lars Shrike Walks the Night.”  Randy and Kelsey also discuss some of the incredibly famous “callers” into Fraiser’s call-in radio show as well as what his own future plans are.

John Paul DeJoria joins Celebrity Salute to speak with Randy Miller about his great new memoir “Success Unshared is Failure.”  John Paul discusses with Randy his journey in the start-up of John Paul Mitchell Systems through the introduction and ultimate sale of Patrón tequila.  This is a fascinating look at a true 20th-century rags-to-riches story, and we’re happy to have John Paul on the podcast.

Actress Patricia Heaton returns to Celebrity Salute to promote her new line of non-alcoholic wines: Solubrae! Patricia talks with Randy about the reason she began making this wine, the process that goes into removing alcohol molecules from liquids, and the shifting attitudes toward drinking, health, and lifestyle. Inspired by her own journey with sobriety, the line features two types, a Pinot Grigio white as well as a rosé.

We welcome the Man of a Thousand Voices for the 21st Century, Jeff Bergman to Celebrity Salute to talk about his role as the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the upcoming Disney Pixar release, “Toy Story 5.” Randy and Jeff discuss what it’s like replacing the voice of the late Don Rickles, his upbringing, Mel Blanc, and much, much more.  Check out Jeff and John Ratzenberger’s work in theaters for “Toy Story 5!”
